Lepomis miniatus, also known as the redspotted sunfish, is a species of freshwater demersal fish.[1] It is one of the 324 fish species found in Tennessee.[2]
The redspotted sunfish is listed as an endandered species in the state of Illinois.[3] It is being reintroduced into the Emiquon National Wildlife Refuge near Havana, Illinois.[4]
